UK Man Banned from Flying with EasyJet for 10 Years Due to Name Mix-up
A 21-year-old man from the UK, Kieran Harris, was banned from flying with easyJet for 10 years due to a mix-up with another man who was convicted of behaving aggressively on an easyJet flight in 2021.
Harris was barred from flying after the airline confused him with the other man, who shares the same name and date of birth.
Harris was unable to board his flight to Spain and received an email informing him of the ban the night before the flight was due to take off.
The ban was lifted after EasyJet requested a picture of Harris' passport to confirm his identity.
Harris is considering changing his name to avoid future mix-ups.
