Tear gas and riot gunshots fired to disperse protesters
Police fired rounds of tear gas and riot gunshots of rubber bullet or beanbag rounds near Pacific Place on Queensway Road in Admiralty and outside Mong Kok Police Station to disperse protesters occupying roads.
However, thousands of protesters did not disperse. Some of them even picked up tear gas canisters and hurled them back at police officers.
They used ubmrellas as a defense and set up road blocks while stepping back.
